My name is Tony Gugino. I am a New York and Alaska licensed fly fishing guide. I grew up on the Salmon River located in Pulaski, NY. I have been fishing the Salmon River for the last 35 years and I have been guiding on it since 1998. Initially, guiding was a part time profession for me. With time I have developed a strong passion for guiding and I have followed my dream of guiding year round. I had a chance to attend a guide school run by Sweetwater Travel Company out of Montana in 2007. The week long program was a great experience and gave me an opportunity to guide at the famous Royal Coachman Lodge located on the banks of Nuyakuk River in the heart of the beautiful Wood-Tikchik State Park, Bristol Bay, Alaska. The sheer beauty of the area coupled with the variety and abundance of the fish creates a truly amazing and life changing experience.
Jason has been guiding with us for many years. He is an extremely well rounded angler and guide. Whether he's guiding the Salmon River, the Delaware River, or the Finger Lakes region for anadromous trout and salmon, he does it all at a high level. Jason is available for Delaware River trips throughout the summer, he is also available for early Salmon River king and coho trips in September and early October when Matt and I are in Alaska. If you are interested in doing an early fall trip for kings and coho salmon Jason will have availability.
Matt has been fishing with me since he was 12 years old. As an adult, he is now an accomplished guide in the Salmon River region, The Delaware River and in Alaska at the Royal Coachman Lodge during the summer months. He is super fishy, extremely patient, and an excellent coach. Matt is also available for Delaware River float and wade trips from late April through early June. Feel free to inquire about Delaware River trips with Matt.
